World Missions Understanding the Great Commission and the impact it has on our purpose we highly value a strong World Missions program. The LifeWay Pentecostals are not only committed to reaching our immediate communities, but also recognize our responsibility to promote the whole gospel to the whole world. We have been called to, "go ... into all the world" and therefore missions is at the heart of our very purpose for existence. Though many of us will never personally start a new church in an unevangelized community nor around the world as a missionary on foreign soil, we seek to fulfill our Great Commission nonetheless. As we reach our local community we also join ourselves to the purpose of reaching the entire world by financially and prayerfully supporting our home and foreign missionaries.
